Position Overview:
The Chiropodist will provide comprehensive foot care services including assessment, treatment, prevention, and patient education for a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. Compensation: 50-60% split for treatment and products

Education: associate degree
Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- Diploma or degree in Chiropody or Podiatric Medicine from an accredited program
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of foot pathology and lower limb biomechanics
- Skilled in routine and advanced foot care procedures
- Excellent patient assessment and treatment planning skills
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to build and maintain strong patient relationships
Responsibilities:
- Perform foot and lower limb assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide routine and advanced foot care including nail care, callus treatment, corn reduction, and wound care
- Assess and treat biomechanical foot conditions and gait abnormalities
- Prescribe and manage orthotics when appropriate
- Educate patients on foot health, footwear, and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals within the clinic
